I just wanted to mention that the group is the nicest set of people ever. The women keep on offering to share clothes with Kathy because we are still missing our bag. They all seem to genuinely care about when our luggage will arrive, which is really sweet. There are so many interesting people with interesting stories. I don't think there has been a single conflict or negative vibe yet.
I suggested that we all wear Duke colors tomorrow when we are going to the Great Wall. I think it will make for a really fun group picture for a bunch of us to be wearing Duke gear on the wall. Plus, I bet the Duke Alumni Magazine will print it. I'll try to post it tomorrow night if it works like I think it will.
Of course, it is worth noting that it happened to come up at dinner that I am writing a blog, which prompted Gary and Susan Weiner to begin reading my blog on their iPhones. Now most of the group knows the web address of this blog and say they plan to read it. So, I better be careful what I write ;)
