The group is bonding nicely. Kathy and I are the youngest people on the trip by about 5 or 6 years. There are about 4-6 folks who appear to be right around 50 and then a bunch in their 60s. Interestingly, there are at least 6 women who are here without any male companionship but only one guy flying solo. Many of the women are old friends who travel together often, leaving their husbands or boyfriends at home. It is a nice bunch of people and we are all slowly learning about each other's lives. A couple of the men were professing to be "big Duke basketball fans" and one woman bragged that her husband was the biggest Duke fan on the trip. I mentioned that I am a moderator of the Duke Basketball Report bulletin board and her husband said, "Sweetie, he's got me beat."
