Welcome to our China trip!

This blog is for Jason and Kathy Evans' friends and family to keep up with our trip. We will do our best to post pictures, stories, and other info at the end of each day. By the way, if you are a thief who plans to rob our house while we are out of town, it is worth noting that we have a good security system, a large dog that loves to munch on strangers, and our house will not be abandoned because we left the kids behind with baby sitters.

Here is a picture of Cameron, guarding the house while we are away. That may look like a tennis ball at his feet, but it is a robber-seeking grenade... and he knows how to use it.
Anyway, back on point, I will do my best to keep this blog updated and interesting. This trip to China and Tibet is a 20th anniversary gift from our parents (thanks, Ken, Sue, Bob, and Gail!!) but maybe it can turn into something amusing and interesting for all of you readers.

Worse comes to worse, it will be memories I can look back on as my hair gets increasingly gray.
